Centrifugal Pumps
Centrifugal pumps are one of two types of dynamic vane pumps where working medium is continuous flow due to interaction of this flow with moving rotating rotor blades and stationary casing blades. Upon that transient motion of the working medium occurs due to centrifugal force and flows in the radial direction, i.e. perpendicular to the rotor rotation axis.
They are equally applicable to both liquids and gases and upon that pumps for pumping gases are commonly referred to as centrifugal compressors or centrifugal fans.
